My work is rooted in transformation-of place, of self, and of perception. As someone who came to painting later in life, after a career in business and a move across continents, I approach art with a deep reverence and intention. Each piece is the result of months of meticulous effort, driven by both discipline and discovery.

I create dreamlike worlds where feminine figures, animals, and surreal motifs become part of silent narratives. My paintings blend classical portraiture with imaginative, symbolic elements to evoke a sense of wonder, stillness, and timelessness. Inspired by mythology, fashion, and nature, I aim to construct visual riddles that invite quiet reflection.

Though I've studied color theory and technique, my style is largely self-taught-shaped through years of trial, error, and perseverance. I work primarily in oil, a medium I find both technically demanding and emotionally expressive.

My goal is for each work to feel familiar yet uncanny, like stepping into a forgotten story. In a world that often moves too fast, I hope my art offers viewers a moment of pause-an encounter with beauty, introspectir and enchantment.

Jolanta Rose

Jolanta K. Rose is a classically trained oil painter whose work exudes feminine sophistication and a refined, narrative sensibility. Influenced by European art traditions and modern figurative painting, her realistic images draw viewers into a mesmerizing world where beauty, symbolism, and fantasy quietly converge. Her compositions often feature poised women, graceful creatures, and ornamental detail, all rendered with technical precision and emotional subtlety.

Rose holds a Master of Arts from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland and continues to study painting in Milwaukee. Her work has been privately exhibited and reflects a thoughtful, evolving practice that bridges cultural influences and artistic eras. Through her richly layered canvases, she creates a visual language that is both contemporary and timeless.
